José Mourinho has revealed Arsenal target Nuri Sahin is free to leave Real Madrid this summer.
The 23-year-old, who joined Mourinho’s side from Borussia Dortmund in May 2011, made just four appearances in La Liga as Real Madrid were crowned the Spanish champions.
Sahin, capped 31 times by Turkey, has been linked with a move away from Spain’s capital this summer, with Arsenal among the reported suitors for the midfielder.
“The point is, he’s a young boy, he wants to play every match. He wants to be happy to play, he wants to play to be happy,” Mourinho said.
